Deep in the darkest forest
An alien sound was heard,
Trees collapsed one by one
And you could see a smoke cloud,
And as the machines
Chopped and burned,
A dark cloud of bats took flight,
And along with them they carried
A threat to human life,
Pretty soon a virus appeared
And no human could be seen,
And there were boxes of the dead
Who died from a virulent disease,
Straight from the jungles dark and deep
What we sowed we then reaped,
It goes to show what happens when you delve for greed,
Their dirty ambitions put at risk both you and me
What has evolved is a horror show finale,
One day will they release an extinction disease
That will see the end of all humanity,
It’s dwelling lurking deep in nature ready to pounce,
For those who exploit and destroy nature
Of that we should have no doubt,
Like a defense system it’ll kill us before we destroy it,
In our ignorance and arrogance we will pay for this,
We chopped, we burned our way
Ignoring every single warning,
And there will come a day when the sun is dawning,
That all will be left of humanity is corpses
A doomsday story deep from nature’s sources,
I now down to you now and bid a sad farewell,
Welcome everybody to a tale of the end of the world.

“The planet isn’t going anywhere… we are! We’re going away! Pack your shit folks! We’re going away and we won’t leave much of a trace either, thank God for that… maybe a little styrofoam… maybe… little styrofoam. The planet will be here, we’ll be long gone; just another failed mutation; just another closed-end biological mistake; an evolutionary cul-de-sac. The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas, a surface nuisance.”
