She is a wild
Bird of prey,
Dangerous to your heart
This is true to say,
She flies on wings so wide
You can see the predator in her eyes,
She seeks out the love
That you may have within,
And she swoops and then begins
To harvest and start draining,
Every ounce from your heart
This bird of prey will rip it apart,
Not because she doesn’t love back
But because she’s desperate to gain what she lacks,
That desire, that warmth that lust
All the bird of prey leaves behind is dust,
Which will then disappear in single sudden gust.
The last two lines are awesome.
