I remember spending time with my dad
A top laugh he was and great times we had,
I never realised how tough it must have been
Working for a pittance supporting the family,
Yet he still found time to hang with me regularly
Talking words of wisdom and encouraging me,
To challenge every thing that he and others said,
I miss him so much now and have since his death,
It’s true that you never get over losing loved ones from your life
Leaves whole in your heart about a mile wide,
And that emptiness never gets filled
Now he lays in peace and his busy hand are now still,
But the memories still remain
But it gets harder to remember that as they fade,
Due to busy times and as we age
But the fact he was my dad, that will never change,
And s legend he was I must say
I look forward to being reunited one day,
Where we can share top fun and laughs again
In a different time and age.
It is completely my pleasure

I think I can get you as of similar loss two years ago. The pain is still engraving. What a coincidence, I happen to write on it, last day!
