What comes after this,
Do we learn anything,
Or do we go back to where we were,
Or do we look to build something new,
The money men will want the poor and the workers
To pay for the debt ridden economy and society,
Just like we had to before under austerity
But does it have to down this way,
Maybe not, maybe it’s time for change,
We owe it to those who died, to create better days,
Less focus on status and worth
More emphasis on health and equality,
Let’s rediscover compassion and empathy,
This could be our new reality,
Is mankind capable of discovering such sanity,
A world of one race united as one caring humanity.
