Capitalism’s a con

Capitalism doesn’t create wealth

But it does keep people in poverty,

The top one percent will thrive

While the poverty stricken are deprived,

And the rest of are exploited

Making rich people even rich,

Through blood, sweat and labour

Working for just above minimum wage,

The millionaires now govern

So they can easily look after their corporate friends,

Who in turn donate money to their party

This is typical of the capitalist game,

It’s flawed with greed, back handers and corruption

That will ensure the rich are kept rich,

And the poor are left drowning in poverty

This is why capitalism stinks.
