The sun broke over life
Bathed the world in rays of light
Helped the grass, plants and trees to grow
Carrie’s on regardless what goes on
Nature responds in amazing ways
Blooms colour in a mass array
The trees breathe out life
And grass grows so that it can be grazed
It’s a wondrous and beautiful day as always
And yes sometimes it rains
But it’s deluge offers life in a sustaining
It’s still an amazing day,
I still gaze in wonder all the same
It’s a blessing to live way
Under natures dawn
As the sun heralds the breaking of another beautiful day.
