Forbidden fruit

Adam and Eve were thrown out of paradise because they wanted more
They could not settle for utopia and abide by gods law
making apples forgiven.

And ever since that day mankind’s been doing much the same
Exploiting the earth for its own aims

If I was God I’d look down on this humanity I created
And wipe the fucking lot away
And put it down to good time wasted.

We have been given paradise/utopia and we are throwing it all away.

  1. Fauxcroft, I have to agree with Darryl Dapper, visceral it is and if I wore a collar, it would snag me too. What a very sharp wit you have. Awesome. Thank you for following my blog and now I am following your blog. Karen

  2. God wiped us out once before with the deluge. Didn’t seem to matter.

  3. A couple of women in different occasions told me that Paradise was probably very boring. I just hope that those who believe that Paradise is boring won’t be allowed in but instead shipped to a different planet together with Monsanto’s shareholders… 🙂
    Just kidding!

  4. I really enjoy the visceral tone of your writing. It snags you by the collar and makes you give it your full attention and a second reading to take it in fully. Very wonderful!
