We are driven by a need to bond
Driven by a desire so strong
Driven by a need to find a loving mate
Driven to find that elusive twin flame.
It’s a biological imperative
And it drives us all insane
A need to find a soul mate and then to procreate
It’s a feeling of completeness
And it tears at our hearts
The need to find a love that’s written in the stars.
And when we find that love
That companion for life
We dream of happy days and a happy life
But nothing is ever guaranteed if you don’t put in the work
And it may all just end in tears pain and hurt.
So a message to the wise devote yourself to them
But don’t forget to allow them plenty of freedom
The chance to feel that they can spread there wings and fly free
Do not take them for granted
Or their desire will be to leave.
So keep the fires burning keep the passion burning bright
Help them find themselves so they can shine so bright
Offer them a love that is unconditional
And they will cherish you forever and harken to loves call.
