I want to see a world of effervescent life
shining with incandescent light
a world bathed in sunlight again
a world that banishes any pain.
Want to see rainbows following on
from the darkness of the storms
I want to see joyful see people dance
and sing and cavort
I want to here stories and poems of love
all with happy endings is this too much.
Maybe this is a Utopian dream
but sad stories of loss and pain make me scream
I am fighting for love, tolerance, compassion and peace
and in a united humanity
This can only happen with unconditional love
I don’t care if you see it as sentimental mush
If we start learning the lessons that life sets for us
maybe then we would learn more that trust.
is something that’s given not taken away
so be careful who you give it to today.
So lets all focus on happiness focus on joy
focus on positives and start to employ
the light in our hearts and the spirit in our soul
to be thankful for life and then we can evolve.
