There are no sides that I will take

for sides divide and society breaks,

once again into smaller factions

don’t feel the need to spring into action

just because someone tells you too

Just because they say’ it’s right for you.

Don’t get in involved in their conflicts

don’t get caught up in the politics,

or for that matter in the religious rhetoric

don’t jump on board that sinking ship,

that will take us all to oblivion

wiping out all life and species in it’s millions,

spiraling down at decreasing rates

all fueled by that sense of hate,

instilled in you by those eschewing sides

who will deny accountability when we then die

or say it was for a higher cause

but we know this to be lies of course.
