The ticket master is collecting tickets

at the station for the train,

heading to unknown destinations.

The passengers look fearful

as they look into the tunnel,

and all they see is darkness.

Where this leads to nobody knows

but if we keep our faith

if we keep our belief,

we will soon see the light.

For no tunnel is endless,

and no darkness eternal,

so do not fear my friends.

When we reach our destination,

then we will feel euphoric,

and we will see it was worth it in the end.

For the light will shine,

and our faith will be reaffirmed,

like we have been reborn,

and the beauty that we witness,

and the relief that we will feel,

will empower our very being.

So when you board that train

standing at the station,

waiting to head off to unknown destinations,

do not see the journey as a fearful one,

see it as a voyage of discovery,

a test of faith,

and a joyful reminder,

that we are all eternal

going in and out of light,

down many a dark tunnel

for this is what we experience and call life.
