The day shimmers and shines
It’s a hot day that’s so tranquil and sublime
And I am loving this weather
The more sun the better
It cheers people up
It seems to instill more love
That winter never does
In the sun I feel so carefree
There becomes more of a sense of community
Brings families out who share the spirit of unity
Kids splashing in the pool
Engaging in water fights
The laugh and joy
To me is a wonderful sight
It fills me with such delight
I am loving the sun
And loving beautiful sights
That summer with all its nature shares with us
That gives us such colour and scenery
from flowers and bushes displayed beautifully.
