Where has all the outrage gone

The mass demonstrations

Banned by governments most of them

Ridiculed by the greedy oligarch run media

People say the kids protesting about climate change

Should focus on school like they did

What a waste it was on them

For they simply follow the right wing media doctrines

What’s the point of learning if you don’t question anything

Why in this age are people not questioning everything

Like they used to in the sixties, seventies and early eighties

We’ve now become compliant fools

Following the rules which our government doesn’t do

We pay our taxes, something big corporations don’t do

Where’s the outrage, the hue and cry

Is it not about time we demanded change

Piled the pressure of government to give us what we want

Action on climate change and big corporations to pay their taxes

Just like the rest of us, with no excuses

And if this is not about to happen

Let’s get out there and start demonstrating.
