All you had to do was love me
Not try and own and control my whole entity,
All you had to do was be there for me in my darkest times
Not try and destroy and break my body and mind,
You should have been my best friend
And not put everybody else before me,
You should have been around
Not treating me as though I didn’t matter,
I should been your main event, been center stage
Not feeling like I was on the undercard and ignored
You should allowed me to be free
Not trying to dominate and suffocate me,
Because you wanted everything
A single person but with a family,
That you could pick up and drop as you please
That’s not love, and that’s evident for all to see,
You were just using me
To satisfy your own narcissistic needs,
Do you not comprehend how you damaged and hurt me
Why couldn’t you see,
That’s not they way anybody should be treated.
