My heart burns white hot

And incinerates my hurts,

Now that you’ve fired it up

Are now brightly shining

Because we held on to what we have

Despite mistakes you are the best thing in my life,

As we helped each other through the pain and strife

The grief that cut through us like a knife,

Yet here we are together all the same

We are resilient despite the hardest rain

We shelter each other time and time again,

For we are one, while remaining separate entities

We can still find time to laugh and have some fun,

Forever and always and so I am done,
