Oh! What a shame

Flowers laid on on a grave

In front of a stone that’s engraved,

Here lays humanity that is now extinct

Because it didn’t care and because it couldn’t change,

It’s negative and it’s destructive ways

So now here lays humanity, oh! what a shame,

It had so much potential to flourish and create

But now here it is extinct, with flowers upon its grave,

And will be forgotten with no one to tell the tale

Of a race that was not like a virus, more like a plague,

It was ravenous in consuming and exploiting all in its way,

It used up all its resources not out of need but through greed

Oh! It’s such a shame how it came to it’s knees,

After cutting down all of the trees

And because they polluted the air and the sea,

It poisoned itself, which was incredibly naive

Now it’s gone extinct because it somehow believed,

It was more powerful than nature which was plain to see

Is wrong and now it’s gone there’s no one left to grieve,

The demise of our now extinct humanity

The side because of its obsession called greed,

Al consuming through wanting and not through need

So now here are the flowers laid on the grave of humanity,

Oh! No that’s just sad and a shame

Here is humanities mass grave.
