I offered you my hand

Why don’t you understand,

I wanted you so bad

And now that seems so sad,

I was willing to give you all I had

But you chose to let me down,

And now it’s all over

And I am only left with the wreckage,

Of the destruction you caused

And you put my life on pause,

I am not sure how long for

But I am struggling with this now

But I have to deal with this now,

If I am ever going to move on

And rebuild my life and love,

It’s hard though I have to say

When the pain won’t go away.
