You delved into me

And decided to perceive,

All the things that you

Wanted to see within me,

And you focused on my flaws

Not seeking out the cause,

You were blind to my attributes

The good points you simply ignored,

It’s like you just wanted to hate me

Casting doubt on all you see,

You delved so deep inside me

You became like a disease,

And you made me feel ill

And that carries on still,

But now I’ve had my fill,

And I am going to heal me

I will eradicate this disease,

Because I don’t need you within me,

And of that you can be sure.
