Stop the green tax
Is what some people say,
Stick with dirty fuel
That’s their refrain,
Like they’ve somehow forgot
About acid rain,
And all the pollution
That is sustained,
Why are the fearful
Of renewable energies,
That could go to helping
Keeping our earth clean,
Clean air, clean seas, clean soil
Is that so abhorrent to believe,
Or is it more that some worry
It may halt their unchecked greed,
Maybe they like infecting us all
With the disease,
That I call pollution from
Their dirty energies,
Renewable energy will set us free.
