Teardrops explode

When hearts are broken,

Minds are confused

By words misspoken,

Love can be lost

Within misunderstanding,

Relationships end

Without any planning,

All because communication

Broke down somehow,

Each believed the other

Broke their vow,

And this, is how things end

When the signals we send,

Are not clear for each other to see,

Then people think within us

There is some kind of deceit,

But no, we somehow get it wrong,

Because we are so afraid of being hurt,

So fearful there’s something going on,

That we fail then to see

And it’s not a real mystery,

That the real tragedy

Is that due to the words

That were misspoken,

It led to a teardrop explosion

Due to a simple trust implosion,

So then another love ends

Because of miscommunication,

Another relationship

Suffers a fatal devastation,

And so it all ends.
