Money is always being poured into arms

They are cutting down rainforests to establish cattle farms,

They are polluting more to create batteries for cars

Lithium mining and acid lakes continuing without a charge,

Yet still the petrol heads won’t give up on dirty fuels

And all around the globe we have pharma companies and their drug mules,

Food prices on the rise because of war and climate change

But there’s nothing here to see that’s what those in power say,

And because of lobbied politicians and their media oligarchs

It’s highly unlikely that anything is going to change,

It’s a sad state of affairs but that’s how things are being fucked up this way

All for power, control and corruption that goes on every day,

Never mind the people, money, greed and profits take center stage.
