No mate, it’s not me

Troubled lives

Always excuses,

Why it’s not your fault

It’s the other factors,

Nobody looks

At themselves

They look externally,

To point the finger of blame

It’s that, it’s not me,

Too much weight

It’s not the calories,

It’s under active thyroid

Rather than what I eat,

Other people seek conditions

Rather than set the truth free,

The reason why they don’t achieve

It is simply because they’re lazy,

These are truths I accepy each day

And it is what motivates me,

It makes me want to do better

Nothing else is to blame,

In my world, except me

I create and I determine everything

That happens in my life,

And just what I can be,

And if I do not reach my goal

And if I fail to reach my dream,

It’s all down to me in reality,

It’s an uncomfortable truth

Not easy to accept but I believe,

That being honest with yourself

Will ultimately set us all free,

Don’t live your life through excuses

Respect yourself I know it ain’t easy,

But live your life, in honesty.

I love this blunt prose of self actualization through responsibility and accountability. I agree we are all in charge of our own growth and expansion in this and all our lives. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
