Profit and pollution over good clean air

They don’t promote renewables because those in charge do not care,

They’re too old to worry about the consequences

So they pollute for profit even though the cost is expensive,

Because the bill will be paid by future generations

Who will have to stop further climate and environmental degradation,

But the big corporations don’t really give a shit

Unless they can make massive profits out of it,

Profit and pollution over good clean air

And they don’t give a shit because they just don’t care,

Because in the future when things may have gotten worse

These uncaring money people simply aren’t going to be there,

So we must force and take action now.
