Barriers are down and people start flirting,

There are those it’s ok for, the single types

But the ones that are not at the end of the night,

May find themselves with decisions to make

Some get it wrong because they make it in haste,

What seems like innocent fun can become

A bad scenario where they do something wrong,

And in the morning the guilt and regret kicks in

The acted in a different way that much is clear,

The alcohol and the people and the environment

It was a much too heady mix which lured them in,

Into a false sense of reassurance and excitement

That they thought they could control but really couldn’t,

That’s when they realise they’ve messed up and don’t know what to do

This is what can happen and in reality and truth,

So if you want to avoid this then stay true to you

Don’t let alcohol and the environment influence what you do,

And be careful of those people who have an eye on you.
