At a time when we all should be

Focused on our ecology and renewable energies,

All our focus is upon harmful wars

Doing so much damage it will cause,

Irreparable damage to mankind and our environment

Is this the plan by global governments,

To bring about a halt to climate change action

Using the wars as a mass distraction,

So dirty fuels and energy can continue on

Pursuing something that’s evil and wrong,

So bringing about real change to protect our environment

Simply cannot happen or will be able to carry on

Because there’s no money left, it’s all gone,

On war, death, violence and destruction

And that what is left will be needed for the reconstruction,

Of what they’ve spent all their time and efforts destroying

Despite the millions of people marching and imploring,

That all war should end for the betterment of mankind

But with governments it seems they won’t take the time

To listen to what the people demand, because they are blind,

To everything else except what they see and to what perpetuates their greed.
