You were the reason I broke

So don’t take credit now I’ve healed,

You were the cause of my damage

So don’t claim the helped repair me,

I did it, all on my own

I looked within as you well know,

And found the truth and answers inside

And found the solutions I needed to find,

It was all through my strength of mind

And it took me a whole lot of time,

And though you cling on by my side

In my shadow you decided to reside,

And after coming through all of this

And after I felt more whole and fixed,

I let you remain here with me

But don’t you ever take credit or think,

That you somehow rendered me any help

I have decided though you caused me hell,

To give you another chance in truth

Now it is up to you to prove,

That in some way I can trust you again

But, understand I will be stronger and not the same.
