The love for others evaporates without a trace

When someone else entices you with a pretty face,

Leaving the one you left behind broken and sad

How can you act this way without feeding bad,

But sticking to someone who you no longer love

I guess it could be seen as worse if you’ve had enough,

Either way you break someone deep inside

With either brutal truth or deceitful lies,

I am never too sure if true love can be lost

But as we grow and evolve sometimes there’s a cost,

For if the other person does not grow and evolve with you

Then I understand they get left behind in truth.
