The myriad faces
The different ethnicities
I sit and see from this seat
In my town passing in front of me
It is like a culture collection of diversity
Playing out unnoticed by most and by many unseen.
Though as a people watcher and observer of life
I see people rushing seemingly troubled and strife
While others walk by content with uncluttered minds
It’s interesting how people go about life.
The conversations that pass between them can be calm and quiet
Or it could be mayhem
Struggling with bags weighing them down
Whilst others carry nothing simply window shopping through town.
The noise of the cars and lorries going by muffle the sounds
The laughter and the cries
But scurrying about
like insects at play
A ritual enacted each day
It amuses and interests me watching this human foray.
