Do our eyes see the truth
do they perceive reality
exactly the way it is supposed to be
or is our vision illusory.
Do we see just what
we are told to see
is it all a conscious mystery,
fed from birth to believe
everything we see.
Do we question anything
or do we just accept
that which has been programmed into this
conditioning historical adept,
to conniving to misconstrue the mind
and leave us always and forever blind
to the truth of our reality
of which is beyond many to see.
It is only upon awakening
that true vision comes to sight
it is only upon conscious awareness
do our eyes behold our plight.
The fact is we are sleepwalking
all the time throughout our life
and missing out on so much love
and of universal delight.
