Hard place to be

The dreams of loves are filled with light

Of memories that share delight

Of happiness caring and sharing

That comes with conscious pairing.

But when this love ends and sadly dies

The anger, bitterness and spite

Darken the days and instill gloom

And every moment seems as if it was doomed

Why can we not when love and affection ends

Be more tolerant and understanding

Even in the face of pain

Just remember there will be better days.

Just cherish the good times that you shared

Remember once that you both cared

But as like everything in life things change often overnight

And though we have found bliss in the place

The other may feel now displaced

And yearn for something different and new

And although it may seem heartless and cruel

Staying in a place where love is gone is also most certainly wrong.

Though you may feel that you trust was betrayed

At least you can now get away

Let go of pain and Misery and assign this lesson to history..

Past is past and is gone focus on what’s good not wrong

And if you find yourself back there please remember when you both cared

And leave the toxic, negitive times

At the back of your mind

For there is nothing nutritious for the soul for you

No goodness it’s all bad for you

Just focus on the love and light and how you grew

And how you managed now to start a fresh renewed.

C.S. Lewis has a saying about things having a ring of truth to them: These lines ring true in so many instances.
