This land our home

Was stolen from us

By vicious greedy, violent, thugs

Who now where suits

Where once was khaki 

Out from the shadows

They still move darkly

Through corridors of power

Corridors of corruption 

Wealth is their real seduction.

Now they sell off the forests

Polluted our streams

They’re ready to exploit 

And doing anything

They Polluted our air

They poisoned our food

They do this using every plausible excuse.

They now have chosen a new resource to exploit

It is called fracking seeking gas underground

By exploiting and using the shale in the ground.

But they keep quiet

So we use science

And prove there’s more dangers

 Than they would to admit.

So stand up  and stand strong

And sing our freedom songs

Let them know there are still some of us amongst there sheep population 

That care enough 

to act enough

Even will to sacrifice enough.

In the name of love and everything here that like us just exists

On this miracle we call earth and all nature’s wonders

It’s incumbent on us to not let it get 

plundered anymore than it already is

We should all stand together 

For there is strength in numbers.

So let’s rejoice let’s sing before the new dawn 

And fight the good fight

Before the new day emerges to reveal freshblood on the floors.
