She asked him straight ‘should I be fearful of your love and will you break my heart when bored of me’.

He looked deeply into those longing eyes and replied, ‘be fearful not of any love for no one knows what is in store.  I can only say be reassured I’d cherish your love and heart forever more in this sweet moment that is what I say and how I feel and hope this shall not change’.

She retorted with a smile ‘my how your words beguile. But in truth I hear what you say, you can only promise.me what you feel today. The rest is hope and that’s all we have but I and my love and heart will accept that. Though it may just seem a risk, I will take your love without promises’.
