The aftermath that we leave

This planet is one hard to believe,

That sentient beings given paradise,

Could have this place

We have vandalised.

This home,

This earth,

So beautiful

And vibrant

And we destroyed it,

with our brutal violence 

It’s not a legacy I want our humanity to leave,

But there is still a chance for us be reprieved.

We just need to take a look at ourselves 

Take a step back and help the health of the planet,

This home,

This earth of ours,

Time to step out of the mindless crowd,

That are blind to the damage we do all the time,

We should now pass laws 

and make hurting earth a crime.
