I feel that way too. However, truth can be a very subjective experience and belief. Each person has there own truth about themselves, others, and the world. The only way to explain Mr. Trump as the president-elect is that truth is in the eyes of the beholder, sadly, from my point of view and truth. How to explain 71% of evangelical Christians voting for Mr. Trump? Is Christianity just a myth to be used as a matter of convenience? In America, have we devolved into tribal hatred of others stoked by a madman or has the thin veil of goodwill exposed the true nature of humankind? K. D.
Yes what we perceive as truth is unique to each individual. I can’t shed any help on the Trump thing, other than to say people are buying into the same fear based politics as us by Hitler. Same here in the UK that xenophobic beliefs are rising along with immergration. We seem to be losing our compassion for those in need and drinking the poison of hate, fear and discrimination. We are allowing others to divide us more than to unite us in spirituality And love. Christianity is a commodity to be brought and sold by those who lead it. Man made religion formulated to help the few control and prosper.
Well said! Absolutely true about what has been happening around the world. This same Trump-like phenomena of fear, hate, and anger is exactly what Hitler did and like Lemmings, the fearful, angry millions are literally throwing themselves off a cliff and they don’t even know it, yet!
