The days of coal

Seen better days

But we must move on 

And find new ways

In renewable energy 

Which is clean enough

To help us build our earth’s resources up

Instead of stripping them bare

Laying it to waste

Just like fracking it’s about the state

Reaping in money for the 1% wealthy

They don’t care if the earth is depleted

For in the end it’s the bottom line

As long as they’re getting rich that’s fine

And Mother Earth is of no concern

And they won’t care even if it burned.
