The New Year started with a santa slaying,

Bomb goes off in a Baghdad market,

Almost 100 people die 

Welcome to the New Year

No surprise. 

These actions carried out against our will

Extremist beliefs full of evil,

Bred and funded by governmental forces,

This kind of murder and manipulation 

Of and by extremists becoming par for the courses.

It appears people wish us to fear,

Easy to control

No dissent here, 

Give them a reason to make them feel unsafe

And they will give up all their freedom to the sate.

Protectionism is the oldest game

And the extremists that they play and manipulate 

Sadly don’t see their caught up in this game,

So through misunderstood belief of their faith,

They are will to throw their lives away

On a lie and a misunderstanding of their religion,

That has been perverted by those who make decisions,

Call them self religious leaders

Calling a Jihad,

But is a gross misinterpretation and that’s a fact.

What is required is a lot less hate,

What we need now is a lot more peace,

What we need now is a lot less extreme,

What we need now is a new dream.

What we need now is tolerance and compassion,

What we now is less violent actions,

What we need now is coexistence and a new age,

What we need now is an end to violent death that instills fear

Which governments and extremists seem to crave.
