Coffee shop serenade

Sunday sitting in a coffee shop

Gazing out the window

At a sunset of pink orange hues

Interspersed with touches of blue

Moving slowly across my sight

Impending moments of another dark night

Though there have been a few full moons

That always illuminate the view

Of all we see when driving home

A cacophony of cars

And the engine groans

In a busy town your never alone

To Savour the sunset

Or the moon

And in a blink of an eye it is over to soon

But sitting here in the coffee shop

The sunset lightens my mood

Nature is  what I drink

And conscious thoughts are my food.
