Sitting at the table and looking outside
Thinking how much beauty there is and just how we are blind
To all the verdant prismic colours scattered everywhere
And how easy it would be, to get lost in her.
Then I decide to take a stroll to drink this in
And I come across a slaughterhouse
That almost seems like it’s hiding
Within this beautiful countryside
Like a stain on nature
And I turn away from this animal Auschwitz men have created.
A little further on I reach a clearing full of buildings
Nievely I walk past wondering what they’re doing inside
And as walk around I see a sign so ghastly
Hidden by the countryside
An animal testing laboratory
That is when I realise that in the beautiful heart of nature
Lurks pure evil of the corporate resource rapers
Killing animals in the heart of sweet Mother Nature
The tranquil hides the smoke from incinerators
And muffled the cries of animals eviscerated.
I walk from this place and return to my home
I never new that in beauty
There could be such an unknown sickness that is dwelling there
I shed a tear for the whole of nature and for the animal despair
Being slaughtered for their meat
And cosmetics for your hair
And I wish I could make these places simply go away
And leave Mother Nature to work her magic
And leave a place of untainted beauty.
