Haters.com

Internet haters, internet trolls, hate so many people they are out of control, Left wing haters, right wing haters all the same to me, keyboard fucking warriors restricting freedom of speech. They won’t allow opinion that differs from their views and you can hear the haters rhetoric on twitter and You Tube. They are so full of poison and malice with venomous attacks shitting in the safety of their own unknown shack. Yet when they are forced out in the world to face reality I wonder if face to face with people they are still that obscene.  Are they truly that outspoken or do they keep their hate filled views to themselves, their racist, gender haters views they don’t share with no one else, until back on the keyboard hidden behind the screen, they then return to this obscene act of being mean. Some are highly educated but you would never guess by their posts some are not so clever and their IQ quite low but intellect does not make a man it’s respect and dignity combined with love, peace and compassion as well as tolerance for all humanity. So this Internet which was created as the greatest resource tool, not just a playground for mindless hating fools, this Internet created as the greatest communication link, was not meant for people who type hate before they think. You can convert a message that is succinct and truly profound, all you have to do is reorder the consonants and vowels. If we all tried understanding others have different views and respect this as a healthy thing, rather than thinking them as fools. We all as one humanity, race will never gravitate and we’re  never going to transcend to a higher enlightened state, while we keep up the hating and trolling here on line, it’s a waste of your potential and a waste of fucking time.

  1. Haha, love the raw, poetic form of this. Good message. It’s okay to disagree with someone but some form of respect is in order. Can have a healthy discussion and not resort to profanity and insults. Something we need to learn to do online. Unfortunately, as you said, the anonymity or at least the virtual nature of communication makes it easy for haters and trolls to release their frustration and go hard on people with differing views without much consequence. And as you said, when it comes to the real world, they may suppress these hate-filled views.

I guess it’s a double-edged sword: on the one hand, the Internet gives you the freedom and courage to share your views unhindered. On the other hand, it allows inciting & insulting content and comments to be posted.

Considering the fact that these sorts of comments can be hurtful and destructive, I thought of writing a post highlighting how you can beat the discouragement delivered by these people. Do check it out here: https://revitellect.wordpress.com/2017/02/17/4-ways-to-fight-discouragement/

    1. Hi. That’s a protected site. Not quite a paywall, but… anyway – on the topic of the relativity of truth, respect and belief:

Generally speaking, unless you’ve got a real zinger of a comeback, I think ignoring the trolls works fine – starve them of the attention their narcissistic digital sadism feeds on.

      1. Agreed. I do not encounter them at all thankfully but I would just ignore them anyway. I read comments on twitter and it gets bad. So I may drop in a comment about stopping the divisive stuff but never get responses. So I steer clear.

      2. Yes I was just reading a book by Jungian psychotherapist Robert Johnson on the shadow and he said the best thing to do with these people is just ignore them. What they say says nothing about others but speaks volumes about them. Walk away, brush it off and stay strong. 🙂
