Ripped from the chest,

Ribs spread

Blood flowing,

Like a waterfall 

Out of the cavity.

Scream breaks out

Shatters the night,

Howling at the moon

Lips turning blue,

Skin colour 

Going paler,

Draining, each moment. 

Sinking to knees 

Looking up at the figure,

Standing in front of them

Once a lover,

Once a friend, 

Now a destroyer,

Of love,

Bringing their

Life to an end.

Betrayal is heartless,

As the figure holds it

In their hand,

As it drips the final 

Life blood,

Onto the floor

Defining love,

No more.
