She was betrayed by him,

And everything that she was

Just simply turned to dust.

And he let her down,

And destroyed her self belief.

She could not see she did not need him,

Could not see that she could get past this,

She was to attached to him

And the love she thought they had

But it was all illusion.

So she gave up

She gave in

And that was when her life came to such an abrupt ending.
