The catalyst for life

lays not in the cataclysmic plight

of self defeating, self loathing,

or a self deprecating strife

that we burden ourselves with

through our domestication,

instilled within us causing frustration

by parenting and all the teaching

we received from our childhood,

bringing about alienation,

of our inner true self

as ego becomes the masterful stealth,

taking over our thoughts and motivations,

that were not a prerequisite from creation

but were simply induced by a system

based around total control

and leaves us externalizing and not looking within our soul,

that leaves us as beings less than whole

but merely fragments of our illusory and real self .
