that thrives and causes waste

How we exploit this earth

and do not understand it’s worth

and how we rape and pillage

all of it’s natural resources.

how we push on technologically

with out care for disposal of the debris

we send it somewhere out of sight

and somewhere out of mind

and think it’s gone.

if it is not enough that we pollute all we see

we have to inflict our waste on other species

who choke on oil spillages and human faeces

and we as we claim that we recycle we say
