So tired

Body aches

So weary

Can barely

Stay awake

The pain is

Palpable 

I need bed

But it’s too

Hard to move

Eyes barely open

Paralysed  by

Overwhelming 

Fatigue.

I force myself

Up and into

Motion

Up to my

Comfortable 

Bed devotion 

For more than

Slumber for

Deep sleep

Until the morning

Where I shall see

The new dawn

In once again

Free from aches

And free from 

Pain.
