Breaking point.

Life close to the breaking point,

Hear the creaking of the joints,

Hear the buckling of structures,

Grinding, screaming, ready to break,

Hear the taught sinews snapping,

Hear them tear, then see it collapsing,

This could be humanity

Or this could be our world environmentally,

Crashing down are our ears

Ending in oblivion,

This could be each of our lives

We could be envisioning,

Unless we make a start toward change

If we don’t alter the game,

Focus on strengthening not weakening,

This would be a positive place

To make a difference,

To change the endings,

For nothing is ever set in stone

But we are too close now to dither,

So don’t you go wasting time,

We need to turn around all of life,

Before humanity and nature finally

Make no more sounds.
