I live a life so profound
Going about my business in my town
And I don’t judge anyone
But so many do,
You can see by their glances
And hear by their hushed tones
That they are judging those
Who seem so different to them,
I am wondering how and when
We can get a message through
To these women and men.
For they represent domestication
And we want to help them
With the demystification
That they are living in,
They are buying the illusion
That have been fed since they were children.
Question everything to see if it fits
Just don’t keep accepting
Everything that your told,
You have your own mind
So be strong and bold,
And define your life
Within justice and right,
You can decide to live in the dark
Or to move into the light
And leave behind anger, judgement and spite,
But I prefer to help those in need with their plight.
I live a life so profound
Going about my business in my town
And I don’t judge anyone
But so many do
And I feel sorry for you
If this is something that you choose to do.
