Confusion

I gave you more

Than you could give

But did not mind

One little bit,

I held you tight

But you melted in my arms,

I miss you now and all your charms.

You were to me

The air I breathe,

The ground

Beneath my feet.

You were to me my destiny

And now it’s hard to believe,

That you are not here now,

That you have disappeared,

And now everything

has just gone black,

I stand here now

A broken mass

And I just cannot make it out.

You were to me

The air I breathe,

The ground

Beneath my feet.

Now I find myself alone,

Inside my lonely home,

I am not mad

I am just confused,

I am not angry at all

Just hurt by it all

And now I just don’t know what to do.

I feel a sense of pain,

I will never love again

And I don’t know if this is the truth,

I am so confused,

I am missing you

And the suffering feels to much to take.

You were to me

The air I breathe

The ground

Beneath my feet.

Now I am standing here so sad and lonely

Living in confusion,

Living in a mess,

The best that I can do is breathe,

And hope for the best

And pray this pain will start easing.
