Pink and purple sunset

Setting down over the bay

Lapping tides unrelenting

In cool and soothing waves

I feel the sand between my toes

Granules wash over my feet

As I stand and admire

A paradise such as this

I hear faint sounds of distant music

And the sound of fun and play

I hear the noise of insects

As they pass by my way

And I makes me feel so vibrant 

Makes me feel so alive

Any flagging spirits

I know now will be revived

And the trees sway gently around me

As I stand on this beach tonight

Gazing at the pink and purple sunset

The most amazing moment of my life.
