Loss of grace

She had the grace and a beautiful face

And her love and laughter filled my space,

That is now an empty void

Since you’ve gone my life has been destroyed,

By your presence no longer being here,

Where there was laughter now there is only tears,

Where there was dreams now resides fear

Since grace no longer lives here,

And I miss that love so much.

    I like it, but I feel the poem would be stronger without the last line. The 8th verse calls back to the 5th verse and reciting it in my head gives it a really nice sense of closure that’s a bit spoiled by the next line. But that’s just my opinion, of course.

    Still love it, keep up the good work.
