I need a distraction from this mad world

Is there something you can give me to swerve,

All the anxieties in my life

Would let me in a while and soothe my body and my mind,

I need some kind of tonic

From this life but not platonic,

I need a distraction to take me away,

Could you give me something to crave

Let me in all the way

And show me some unconditional  love

And distract me today,

Because I think I am likely to go insane.
